Account Director
Job Description
- Act as the senior point of contact and trusted advisor to senior and C-level clients.
- Lead strategic conversations that influence marketing and business outcomes.
- Translate complex business challenges into insight-driven marketing and communication strategies with clear ROI.
- Strengthen and expand client relationships through proactive collaboration and innovation across services.
- Identify and pursue cross-sell and up-sell opportunities to maximize client value.
- Partner with Business Development and leadership teams on new business pitches and strategic proposals.
- Lead, mentor, and inspire account teams to deliver high-quality, impactful work.
- Foster a culture of collaboration and accountability across internal teams for a unified client experience.
- Oversee project delivery to ensure timeliness, budget adherence, and client satisfaction.
- Anticipate challenges, manage escalations, and maintain transparency to strengthen client trust.
- Streamline workflows, processes, and reporting to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communication, or related field.
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in account management or client services within an agency or integrated marketing environment.
- Proven track record in leading strategic initiatives and managing key client relationships.
- Strong business and financial acumen with the ability to link creative ideas to commercial impact.
- Excellent leadership, team management, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach and high attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong presentation and negotiation skills with executive-level stakeholders.
